In light of the news about Amazon retroactively canceling the already insultingly short 4 episode ALOTO season 2, it's important to remember they are doing this 1. Cause they never wanted to make it in the first place. And 2. Because they want to sway public opinion against the strikes in their favor. DO NOT GIVE IN!
People deserve fair compensation, better working conditions, and more for their work. They can cancel all my favorite shows, I don't care. Labor rights are human rights. Solidarity!
It's OK to be mad/sad/disappointed. Just remember WHY and WHO that anger should be directed toward. The studio because they refuse to pay people fair wages!!! (Which they CAN ABSOLUTELY afford!)

Amazon has begun announcing cancelations due to the ongoing strike. That's how they're phrasing it. They're blaming the strike. But of course, it's on them and every other studio for refusing to negotiate.
Unfortunately, A League of Their Own was one of the cancelations. The other I saw today was The Peripheral. Both were previously renewed.
I'm hoping that since The Wheel of Time was renewed for season 3 a long time ago, they won't touch that for a while. It clearly did good things for them.
Anyway, other studios will be announcing their cancelations soon, I'm sure. I also expect more purging of media from streaming. They're really trying to use audiences as a pawn in this standoff.
